Options Day - Clay Creations

We have just finished our second day of options.  It has been a wonderful experience to work with children throughout the school.

We have learnt how to make a coil pot, to weld pieces together, to polish with silver spoons and we are all looking forward to making a sawdust kiln to set our creations on fire in our next session.

We are aiming towards creating a totem pole for the foyer and a tile artwork to celebrate our virtues.  Keep an eye out for the masterpieces when they are finished.

I have been really impressed with how children show perseverance and teamwork.  Some aspects of this has been challenging but our confidence is growing all the time.

A special thank you to Renaee for her support, op shopping, brick and sawdust gathering and the encouragement given to the artists in our group.

Here is a slideshow to see what has been happening.....
