Amazing FAB4 writers!!!

During our ANZAC studies we looked at what it would be like to be a soldier in the trenches.
We used a structure to hook our ideas on.

I see bombs that kill my friends
I hear bullets flying past me
I feel scared

I wonder if I can make it home.

In the trenches I think of Mum and Dad and of my family.  I feel scared because I miss my family.  One of my friends dies in front of me.  I feel sad because I am not with my family.  I always think about not knowing what is going to happen today.

I see bombs shooting over us and exploding everywhere.  We get out and run when the whistle blows.  We miss the soldier that lost their life right next to us.  I can feel my body getting sore and weak and dirty like getting run over by a bus or even a car.
